MIKEY JONES

Mikey Jones is a queer Appalachian poet and visual artist born in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. 
He is the author of Eulogy of a Rainbow Trout his debut chapbook forthcoming at Finishing Line Press, was a finalist for the James Applewhite Poetry Prize judged by Tyree Daye & the Patricia Cleary Miller Award for Poetry at New Letters Magazine, and has been nominated for Best of the Net & the Monarch Queer Literary Award.  His poetry appears in Screen Door Review, Queerlings, Appalachian Review, Susurrus Magazine among others.
Mikey lives in Seattle, Washington working at a queer independent bookstore. They are often writing with a cat in their lap, tending to their abundant houseplants, wandering in the woods near water, or reading books that make them cry.
